Here’s a little more background, and introduction to the Council on Foreign Relations or CFR. I’m kind of disappointed with the unabashed endorsement commercial for Ron Paul at the end, but what do you expect on the internet? There are facts, and C-SPAN footage of real candidates, so there is a hint of credibility in the information being presented. Not to mention that Ron Paul has publicly stated his views on the subjects expressed.

For those that have never heard of the Council on Foreign Relations, past and future posts may help wrap your head around it. A little background:

The Council on Foreign Relations

began as an outgrowth of meetings during World War I. The talks evolved into Woodrow Wilson’s famous “fourteen points,” which were Globalist in nature, calling for the removal of all economic barriers between nations, equality of trade conditions, and the formation of a general assembly of nations. Colonel Edward Mandell House, Wilson’s confidential adviser, described himself as a Marxist socialist, and authored a book in 1912 entitled Philip Dru: Administrator. In the book, he described a post-war world and a “conspiracy” within the United States with the goals of establishing a centralized bank, a graduated income tax, and control of both political parties.

In 1919, the Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to heavy reparations to the Allies, which ruined Germany’s economy, causing Depression, which directly led to the rise of Adolf Hitler. On May 30, 1919, Colonel House and British and American delegates met at Paris’ Majestic Hotel, and outlined plans for the formation of the “Institute of International Affairs”. The institute was to be established in order to influence public opinion toward the acceptance of one-world government.

In New York, the U.S. branch of the institution, the Council on Foreign Relations (or CFR), was incorporated on July 21, 1921. The bylaws of the new organization stated that anyone revealing details of the CFR meetings could be dropped from membership. Since 1945, the CFR’s headquarters have been in the Harold Pratt House in NYC, the building donated by the Pratt family of Rockefeller’s Standard Oil.

Why all the hoopla about people in high-ranking political positions and the secretive nature, and globalist “conspiracy” fueled by talk of the CFR? Consider in 1940, when CFR member Henry Stimson became secretary of war, and brought with him fellow member John J. McCloy as assistant secretary for personnel. McCloy (a former CFR chairman, chairman of Chase Manhattan Bank, and mentor to David Rockefeller) commented, “Whenever we needed a new man [for a government position], we just thumbed through a roll of council members and put a call through to New York.”

According to some, the CFR has exerted influence and control over U.S. policies for nearly the past century. For almost sixty years, this influenced has been shared with another closely related secretive group - the Bilderbergers.

Check back TOMORROW for a fun post on Barack Obama and his response to questions regarding the Council on Foreign Relations and the proposed North American Union and new currency - the Amero.
